Ms. Buhrke teaches Grade 10 English, Modern World History, and AP Language and Composition. She is a German-American who primarily grew up in California, USA. She holds a BA in English and another in History from Pacific Union College and a Master’s in Education from Waldorf University. She is a certified teacher in the US state of Florida and holds a TESOL Professional Certification of 120 hours from the Global Training Academy. Ms. Buhrke has eight years of experience working in education, all in Hong Kong, and has a passion for supporting mental health and a growth mindset in her classes. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, drawing, and spending time with her friends and family.
